The family of Eileen J. Morelli is deeply saddened by her sudden passing on Sunday, April 26,2026.
She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Morelli, devoted mother of Jacquelyn, Ralph (Valerie), Gregory Sr., proud grandmom of Angelique, Gregory Jr., Janae, Jake, Isabella, and Noah, loving sweet daughter of Keon A. Knopp and the late John W. Knopp, loving sister of Carol (John) Fackler, Diane (Anthony) Tuono, the late Ellen (Harry) Arndt, dear aunt and cousin, and cherished daughter-in-law of the late Rose and Anthony Morelli.
Eileen lived a life defined by resilience, faith, and love for her family and friends.
She spent 35 years in food service, starting as a waitress alongside her mother, and retired her career at St. Hubert's H.S. cafeteria, sharing joy along with the food she served.
All while making a home for her family filled with love and laughter. Just being Mom was her greatest joy.
Eileen was crafty, funny, enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and her "Sisterhood". She loved dragonflies, the beach, her window garden, and SciFi, and was never out of step with her unapologetic style.
She prayed the Rosary and Believed, lived her faith through actions - showing compassion, generosity, and forgiveness.
The world feels dimmer without her, but her spirit and light lives on. She will be dearly missed and in our Hearts Forever.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 18th, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church 617 Morgan Ave., Palmyra, NJ 08065.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's memory may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
