Kathleen E (Hughes) Geisler

Kathleen E. Geisler (Hughes) Age 83 passed away on March 23, 2021. 

Beloved wife of Donald R. Geisler, with whom she celebrated her 60th wedding anniverary in June of 2020. Devoted mother of Rudolph K. (Barbara), Patrick J. (Gina), Karol A. (David ) Nelson, Kristina A. (Michael) Dormer, Kirsten A. Geisler, the late Karen A. Kane (Christopher) and the late Kathy A. Binczewski. Cherished Grandmother of Valerie, Jessica, Steven, Rebecca, Nicholas, Kathleen, Matthew, Joseph, Marie, Payton and Meadow. And proud Great Grandmother of Laura. Anna and Lydia and loving sister of Mary Viscomi, Joan Williams, and the late Patricia Doyle.

Kathleen was a full-time stay at home mother for a large portion of her adult life, lovingly raising her 7 children. Once the children were grown, she worked at several federal government agencies over a period of seventeen years before retiring from federal service in 2008. She was an avid reader, and particularly liked Sci-Fi/ graphic novels. Kathleen had a sharp memory, and enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren with their favorite toys, trinkets and treats. She was a kind and generous woman, constantly putting the needs of others before herself.  

The Family will recieve relatives and friends on Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:30. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7056 Tulip St, Phila. PA 19135. Interment will be private.
