Lucy Julia (Cantagallo) Gradel

Lucy Julia "Lucille" Gradel (nee Cantagallo) passed away on October 17,2023.

Lucille was predeseased by her beloved husband Leonard. Immediate surviving family are her devoted sons, Leonard Joseph Gradel II and Lawrence Jeffrey Gradel (Gail), cherished grandchildren: Rebecca, Coleen, Allison, Leonard  III, Alyssa, Ashley, Jessica, Lawrence II, Melissa and David, great- grandchildren: Davis, Corrine, Philip, Ava, Sophia, Gia, Hunter, Kadence, Grace, Olivia, Eva, LilyBelle, and Soleil, and great- great- granddaughters, Audrey and Ada Rae, loving cousins: Julie Pezzotta, Carol Caruso, Ralph Bianco, and Paul Bianco, and many nieces and nephews.

Lucille stayed at home raising the boys until Larry started school and she became a buyers assistant at Sears and Roebuck.After retiring and Leonard's passing in 2002, Lucille volunteered at Helen Ellis hospital, where Leonard passed. She also became active in the Florida Council of the Blind-Pinellas Chapter, and had poems published in one of their books.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, from 9:00 to 10:15, and Funeral Mass at 10:30, on October 27th, at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7051 Tulip St, Phila., PA 19135. Interment to follow at St. Dominic's Cemetery.
