Mary Ann Conrad Zerggen sadly passed away on Saturday, December 7 th, at the age of 79. She

Born on February 25, 1945 in Philadelphia, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Joseph and
Eva Conrad and sister to the late Catherine Conrad Benner and Evelyn Conrad who all preceded
her in death.

Girls’ High School class of 1963. She was employed as a bookkeeper and volunteered within
her community and was instrumental in founding the Town Watch program for the 26 th police

Tacony Civic Association.
Mary Ann was a devoted mother and is survived by her beloved son Marc Ferris also of
Philadelphia and her cousin Teresa Fernes.
Mary Ann deeply loved her family and friends and opened her home for Christmas taking pride
in lovingly decorating her home and sharing her many culinary talents celebrating with family
and friends. Mary Ann loved to venture out yard saling, adding to her home and holiday décor.
She had a flair for fashion and took great pride in dressing to impress, going out and enjoying a
meal and margarita from Gallo’s.
In the Spring, Mary Ann’s energy turned to gardening and tending her roses. In summer with
