Philip A. (Phil) Valentino Jr. passed away suddenly on November 23,
2022. Devoted husband of Maryann (Grimaldi) for forty-three years.
The proudest dad of Jena (Brian Zenszer) and Lauren (Daniel
O’Brien). Adoring Pop-Pop to Briena, Brayden, Hunter, Lucas, and
Nora. Girl-Dog Dad to Dusty Rose and the late Samantha.
Predeceased by his parents Philip and Dolores (Mirarchi). Loving
brother of Dina Sammartino (John) and Donna Serpiello (James).
Son in Law of Madeline Grimaldi (Belina) and the late Michael.
Brother in Law to Gene Grimaldi (Marie) and Piero Grimaldi
(Stephanie). Fun-loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Charismatic leader of his band, The Exceptions, who through the
many years became an extended family.
Phil grew up in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. He attended Our
Lady of Consolation Elementary School, Father Judge High School,
Temple University, and Widener Law School. The practice of law and
performing on stage were his Professional Legacies. Phil’s Life
Legacy will forever live on through his loving family and the many
lives he has touched over the years.
The Mass of Celebration will be at 12 pm on Saturday December 3,
2022 at Our Lady of Consolation Church on 7051 Tulip Street,
Philadelphia, PA 19135.
Visitation from 9 am- 12 pm.

Interment private.
